You have to go through Quepos to get to the road to Manuel Antonio. Quepos will have everything you need from supermarkets, restaurants, repair shops, bus station, retail shops, post office,īanks and just about everything you need to live or vacation here. Marina Pez Vela in Quepos hosts an array of sports fishing tournaments throughout the year. THANKS TOO THE STAFF AND MANAGERS / OWNERS IVE FOND A PLACE I CAN CALL HOME DAVECHERWONIAK VANCOUVER CANADA.Even though our little town of Quepos is the gateway to Manuel Antonio, Quepos can hold its own because it is one of the best places in the world for sports fishing. the wildlife on the property is outstanding in all the places I've stayed in Manuel Antonio. I know people want to be close to the beach but the fact being the bus is outside the front entrance and runs evet twenty min both direction perfect for the beach five min or to go shopping in town five min. the grounds are stunning thanks to Eugene background being a florist what a dreamscape it is so clean and is perfect as the location. the room is great and has everything you'll need cooking wise/ NOT A HUGE MEAL BUT SIMPLE MEALS DEPENDING ON YOUR ROOM CHECK SMALL KITCHEN OUT THERE GREAT and for even a long stay you could live there permanently if you're so inclined. from the manger Veneta to the owner Eugene they have this piece of paradise that in my mind is the perfect spot to stay. and this place is as magical as Manuel Antonio. ive been coming to this area for over twenty years. Monkeys daily.īest Place for short and a must for longer stays. Three scarlet mccaws that hung around the pool most days. Very nice little pool with plenty of room to sit around it. Three restaurants very near for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Mini mart on the property where you can book excursions (we booked two through them) as well as get beer, soft drinks, snacks, etc. So if you have to walk a couple hundred yards each time you want to get the bus you're walking on the side of a narrow road with lots of traffic. This is important in MA because you take the bus everywhere and the road is very narrow. We had one of the smaller rooms but it was plenty big enough for the two of us and never felt cramped over the 8 days. Well designed rooms - sliding patio door in the front and rear so you can get air flow. That's as fast as we get at home in the US. Incredible wifi - consistently 65-70 mbps. The attention to detail shows in how well appointed the kitchenette is (we cooked most meals in our room and never needed anything we didn't have) and little things like a rug on each side of the bed to wipe your feet before crawling in (I usually leave a dirty tee shirt on the floor for this but this was the first place we've stayed in CR that provided rugs). She really takes the time to orient you, is always available and pleasant, great communicator and makes sure you have everything you need. Vernita is hands down the best property manager we've had the pleasure of working with. What separates Tico Tico is Vernita and their attention to detail. Clean, safe, good location, but there are lots of places like that in the Quepos/MA area (as well as throughout CR). Excellent property, exceptionally well managed. Just getting ready to check out after staying 8 nights at Tico Tico and can't recommend it more highly.
